When you make a website, the purpose is usually to get as many people to visit it, and then return to it, as often as possible. With this in mind, you likely want to create a cool, eye-catching website. One way to do this is to have a spinning logo. It is very easy to make your own if you follow the steps outlined below.

1
Open a document in Photoshop. In the dialog box that opens, set the size to match the size you need for the spinning logo. Make the file name for this document "spinning 1". Set the background to transparent.
2
Go to the bottom of the Layer panel, and click on "New Layer" to make a new layer.
3
Use the Text, Shape, and Brush tools, as well as the Filters and Blending Modes, to create your logo design on the top layer. Or simply import an image, and paste it in.
4
Go to Menu, File, and select "Save for Web". In the window that pops up, select GIF for the file type. Save this file, naming it "A".
5
Hold down the "CTRL" key and click "T" to "Rotate" the image. Spin the logo 30 degrees. Repeat step 4, naming the file the next letter in the alphabet.
6
Repeat step 5, stopping one step before completing the full circle.
7
Go to ImageReady, and "Import" the folder with the images you made. When they import, they should automatically be in order in the timeline (though you may want to check this). Click File, and select "Save As", saving the file as another GIF. This is your spinning logo, which you can open in Internet Explorer to test.
