Begin the Export Process

Open Photoshop CS4. The program is most commonly accessed by clicking the Windows Start button and selecting the following: "Programs" > "Adobe" > "Adobe Photoshop CS4."

Create a new document or open an existing one. From the "File" menu, select "New" to create a new document or "Open" to select and open an existing image file. After you've finished editing the file, you can proceed with exporting.

Click the "File" menu and select "Save As."

Change the file name if needed, and select a save location for the PDF.

Click the "Format" drop-down menu and select the "Photoshop PDF" option. Click "Save."

Select your general settings from the dialog box that follows.

Choose specific settings for compression, output, and security by using the sub-menu on the left-hand side of the dialog box.

Click "Save PDF" after confirming your choices to finalize the PDF export process. Your newly created PDF file is now ready to use.
